You are invited to the Annual Gardenview Montessori Holiday Bazaar!

Join us for this fun, family friendly event! There will be a variety of vendors offering Usborne Books, Launching Success, handcrafted items, birdhouses, jewelry, handmade candles, Tupperware, beauty products, holiday items, & many many more.

Kids can enjoy crafts and activities, while parents do some holiday shopping. We also have some free entertainment scheduled.

Our silent auction is always outstanding! Auction items have previously included owners’ box Mariners tickets, a rafting trip, a weekend at the lovely Oyster House on Lummi Island, a birthday package at the Sportsplex, A weekend at the Swinomish casino, a photography packet, gym membership, an Aveda Salon package, and lots of other great items.

There will also be a special "Kids Only" raffle, too, where kids can buy tickets for a quarter and try to win great prizes!

Ongoing Coffee Fundraiser

We are excited to tell you about our first fundraiser of the year! We are selling our own blend of coffee with our own label from Hammerhead Coffee. Hammerhead Coffee is a small, family owned roasting company in Bellingham, WA, that sells organically grown and Fair Trade Certified Coffee beans. All of the staff is looking forward to working with this company.

The name chosen for our blend is Gardenbrew. A classic combination of coffees from Indonesia and Ethiopia, featuring a full body, lots of earth and berries, and a nice winey brightness. Flavor-wise, it is the most easily distinguishable of the world’s great coffees. The price for each pound of coffee ordered is $11.00, payable directly to Gardenview Montessori.

On January 7, 2006 one of the students attending Gardenview Montessori was fatally injured in a tragic accident. She was a bright, beautiful, amazing 5 ¾ year old girl. She had more enthusiasm for life in her few short years than most of us will know in our entire life. She will be greatly missed by everyone who had the fortune of having her in their life.

We have set up a scholarship fund in her memory at Gardenview Montessori. The funds raised so far have enabled us to offer several partial scholarships to some very deserving children. We hope to be able to offer more partial scholarships as well as a couple of full scholarships each year but can only do so with generous donations from you. Please make a donation in memory of Abi to support scholarships at Gardenview Montessori School.
